About Total Physiocare

Total Physiocare was established 30 years ago, but was set up as a company in 2007 with two locations in Reservoir and Heidelberg. Since the beginning, Total Physiocare has been committed to providing a quality health care and physiotherapy to our community.

Total Physiocare Group encompasses Total Physiocare at Heidelberg, Total Physiocare Reservoir, Total Physiocare Camberwell, Total Physiocare Footscray and the physiotherapy service at Warringal Private Hospital & at Western Private Hospital.

Our team caters extensively for post-operative rehabilitation with ongoing communication between physiotherapists and specialists.

Additionally, the physiotherapists have extensive experience dealing with sporting clubs of all levels, and can effectively treat almost all sporting and spinal injuries. Total Physiocare also offers a 'drop in clinic' on a Monday evening, where players from affiliated sporting clubs may attend a free injury assessment.

The clinic complex is equipped with modern gym facilities which provide the perfect environment for clients to undergo a full graduated rehabilitation following injury or surgery.

That’s right. Research says surgery is no better than a structured rehab program. Ask is about our 6 week better back program now !

Current evidence suggests spinal fusion has little advantage over a well-structured rehabilitation program for back pain. Despite this, rates of the procedure are on the rise. A recent article published on The Conversation calls for research efforts to shift from studies looking at different ways of performing the surgery to a greater focus on investigating whether or not it works better than non-operative treatments. In the meantime, patients should #choosephysio.
