Principal Clinical Psychologist
Danielle has over 15 years experience working in the mental health field, including for the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, beyondblue and in private practice. Prior to opening her own practice she worked for Cornerstone Psychology for 5 years.
Danielle initially trained as a lawyer and understands the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. She has held several board positions and is currently a director of Friends of MITHRA, an Australian charity raising funds for children with physical and intellectual disabilities in Chennai, India.
Danielle has a warm, collaborative and grounded approach. She specialises in helping adults with anxiety, panic, depression, adjustment to illness and injury, trauma, relationship and workplace concerns, pre and postnatal adjustment, parenting challenges, grief and loss, anger, personality disorders and more.
Danielle uses Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema therapy, EMDR and other evidence-based therapies. Her holistic approach assists clients to kick start their own healing, while learning something genuine about themselves along the way. Danielle is a regular speaker at schools, workplaces and in the community on all things mental health. She is also writing a book on kindness.
