Maighan graduated from La Trobe University from a Bachelor of Applied Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Throughout her time at university, Maighan gained musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurological, trauma rehabilitation and chronic pain physiotherapy experience. Maighan works as a member of the Total Physiocare team across the Heidelberg and Kew clinics, as well as Warringal Private Hospital. Prior to joining Total Physiocare, Maighan has worked as a sports trainer with local football and netball clubs, as well as assisting in facilitating clinical pilates groups.
Maighan comes from a sporting background, playing netball at many levels including representing her university at a national competition standard. This, alongside her interest in a range of other sports, has fuelled her passion for rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Maighan also has a particular interest in trauma-related injury rehabilitation and working with amputee patients. Maighan enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their best physical health.
In her spare time, you can find Maighan playing netball, going for a long run and spending time with family and friends.
