Cait Lenaghan
Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science & Masters in Exercise Physiology
Cait graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science and from Deakin University with a Masters in Exercise Physiology. Throughout her degree and time working as an exercise physiologist, Cait has gained invaluable experience working with clients with varying oncology, neurological, metabolic, musculoskeletal, post-partum and cardiorespiratory conditions. Cait has extensive experience and passion for working with clients to manage their post-surgical or medical conditions with exercise and will create a tailored program for you!
Cait is experienced is in exercise prescription of the prevention and management of chronic conditions including Osteoporosis, Cancer, Parkinson’s disease and Diabetes. Cait is a strong advocate for empowering clients to enjoy exercise and movement, using it to their advantage everyday as an outlet rather than a job or task that sits at the bottom of the to do list!
Cait’s experience in healthcare extends to working as an Allied Health Assistant in both regional and metro hospitals, as well as working at VFL level football clubs. Cait has a strong interest in managing musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries and assisting people back to work, returning to sport and doing the things they enjoy.
Outside of work Cait enjoys playing and watching sport, socialising with family and friends and is currently training for her first half marathon!
