Irene Terzopoulos
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)
Irene graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) degree. She has been a part of the Total Physiocare team for many years.
Throughout her studies, Irene gained experience within the Alfred Health system working in acute and rehabilitative musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological settings. Additionally, she was working as a sports trainer at a variety of soccer clubs (including Boroondara Eagles Soccer Club) and football clubs (Old Scotch Football Club) involving taping, soft tissue massage and exercise prescription programs.
Prior to studying physiotherapy, Irene was an elite soccer player for 15 years competing at yearly national championships in both outdoor soccer and futsal (indoor soccer). This ultimately sparked Irene’s interest in all musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, also experiencing a variety of neck and lower limb injuries firsthand throughout her sporting career!
When Irene isn’t working, you can find her at the gym, hiking, baking, running, or socialising with friends and family.
