Karaitiana graduated from the University of Otago in 2018. Through his time working as a sports medic for rugby teams in Dunedin, he established a keen interest in assessing and treating sports related injuries. Karaitiana’s enjoyment for physiotherapy comes from his desire to help people rehabilitate to better than their previous performance, improving the sporting abilities and quality of life of his clients. His drive to achieve the best possible outcomes has seen him complete a dry needling qualification and a certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. In addition, Karaitiana is halfway through completing a postgraduate diploma in sports medicine.
