Osteopath
Masters of Osteopathy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach

Max is an osteopath and strength and conditioning coach. He graduated with a Master’s degree in osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 2012 and became a certified strength and conditioning coach with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association in 2018.

He has amassed a wealth of experience working in the UK, Sydney and Tokyo, working mostly in private practice but also in some professional sports including at the Rugby World Cup in 2019. He works with a wide range of patients and conditions including sports related injuries, chronic/persistent pain conditions, tendinopathy and low back/neck pain.

Max's approach is to try to empower the patient to be able to look after themselves rather than returning endlessly for more treatment. To do this he utilises an active approach involving a big focus on exercise and education around self-management. He believes in an individualised and patient-centred approach - meaning that the approach should be tailored to the patient's preferences and requirements rather than a one-size fits all approach or forcing ill-suited treatments on people.

Outside of work Max loves eating but hates cooking, is passionate about his own exercise (mostly soccer and strength training), and loves to travel the world.
